I caught the funk! Whatever has been going around here at work has finally made its way to me. So I've been doped up on Mucinex and Advil Cold and Sinus since Sunday. But it seems to be going away now. I haven't taken any medicine today! But I still feel like I've got my head in a bubble because of the medicine.

Dude, this weekend is going to be a movie going weekend. Didn't really intend for it to be that way, it just kinda happened. I'm going to see the Sex and the City movie on Sunday morning. I'm going by myself, cause none of my friends are really into that movie. But no big deal, I don't mind seeing movies by myself. On Saturday Matt and I are going to see the new Indiana Jones movie with one of the guys I work with. He's one of the older guys and would normally see this movie with his son, but his son is in India for study abroad. Matt wants to go see Indy and I really don't, but he doesn't like going by himself. & the guy here at work didn't want to go by himself. So I figured it'd be nice to invite him along.

At least we won't be out in the hot sun this weekend. We went to the Renaissance festival last weekend. It wasn't that great. Thankfully I got tickets for it here at work, so it didn't cost me anything to get in. It just is mostly a bunch of little shops selling stuff. I think with just the way a lot of people talk about it I was expecting more. So it was kinda disappointing. It was extremely crowded too! We figured it was because it was Memorial Day weekend and gas is so expensive. But I really wasn't expecting that big of a crowd!

I worked on some necklaces while I was laying around trying to get better. I made about 4 of them. One isn't so great, so I doubt I'll try doing anything with it. I'll just keep it hanging around until I decide to take it apart and use the beads for something else. But two of them turned out great and I might try selling them on etsy. We'll see.

I love 4 day work weeks.

I'm half cleaning/half being lazy. It doesn't help that Lucy is sleeping next to me on the bed. It makes me sleepy watching her sleep. It is nice to get started on cleaning. The house needs it, since spring is coming around again. :( I don't like spring. The stupid wasps and bumblebees are what bug me. But! I made some new shirts for spring, so that I would look forward to it somewhat. So that's fun. Cause some DOG chewed up my favorite shirt. Pete's lucky he's cute and looks like ice cream.

Last week Matt and I went to see 300. Good movie. Worth the $4.00 we paid for it. Matt had gift cards. But it also would have been worth the $16 or so we would have had to pay. I need to get ahold of Risa and Chris and see if they want to go bowling. That way we can exchange Alias box sets and I can get my season 1 back and watch it again. & Maritza can watch season 2. I know I have some discs of season 3 around here that Dad copied for me. I need to find them so she can watch that too. Cause really, season 3 began the downfall of Alias. :(

Mom and I went out Friday night and went shopping. It was actually fun. I bought Shrinky Dinks while we were out! I'm gonna add some Shrinky Dinks to my jewelry. I'm excited, I think it'll be fun.

I should probably get back to cleaning. Bleh.
